Twelve seats. Each one filled for a reason.

The Inner Circle is the advisory board behind Alchemy Cyber. Not a logo wall of favours. Twelve operators, each holding a vantage point the firm cannot see from its own chair.

Most advisory boards exist to signal credibility. This one exists to spend it.

Everyone reading this already suspects the same thing: that these twelve people lent their names and will never be called. So here is the standard. A seat is held by someone who takes the call, argues with the recommendation, and says the thing the client will not enjoy hearing. If a seat stops doing that, it goes back on the board.

The twelve are chosen by vantage point, not by title. One seat per sector, so no two people are looking at the same problem from the same side. That is what makes the board worth convening rather than photographing.

01 Takes the call. Takes the call. 02 Argues with the Argues with the recommendation. recommendation. 03 Says the thing Says the thing the client will not the client will not enjoy hearing. enjoy hearing.

The twelve vantage points.

Recruitment is under way. Each seat below is reserved for the perspective named on it.

Seat 01
Financial services

A security leader who has defended money in motion and been examined for it.

Seat 02
Healthcare

Someone who has run security where downtime is measured in patients, not revenue.

Seat 03
Retail and commerce

Peak-season scale, card data, and a fraud problem that never sleeps.

Seat 04
Cloud and infrastructure

The view from the platform everyone else builds on top of.

Seat 05
Manufacturing and OT

Where the network touches machines that cannot be patched on a Tuesday.

Seat 06
Public sector

Procurement under scrutiny, and a threat model that includes nation states.

Alchemy Cyber
Seat 07
AI and model risk

Someone governing models in production, not writing policy about them.

Seat 08
Identity

Human and non-human, and the standing access nobody wants to own.

Seat 09
Product security

The person answering the security questionnaire, not sending it.

Seat 10
Privacy and counsel

Because half of what looks like a security decision is a legal one.

Seat 11
Venture

An investor who sees the category two years before the buyers do.

Seat 12
Founder

Someone who has built and sold a security company, and remembers the hard parts.

If one of those seats is yours, say so.

A seat is two calls a quarter and an honest opinion when it is asked for. Nothing ceremonial.
